There are rumours that Samsung is developing its Galaxy A line of smartphones. Specifications and launch information for the forthcoming Galaxy A14 and Galaxy A34 smartphones have surfaced in recent sources. Recently, it has apparently been discovered that the Samsung Galaxy A24 is included in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification database. A recent source claims that the Samsung Galaxy A24, the company’s rumoured low-cost 4G smartphone, has been seen in the BIS database. BIS listing typically suggests that the allegedly launched device’s India debut may happen shortly.
A smartphone with the model number SM-A245 has reportedly been discovered on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, according to a report by Gizmochina. This may be the rumoured Samsung Galaxy A24 4G, a low-cost 4G smartphone that the South Korean giant will release soon.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 4G’s appearance on BIS, as is typically the case with listings, may be a sign that the smartphone is about to be released in India. The advertisement, however, gives no information on the handset’s characteristics or technical specifics.
However, there have already been a number of rumours, tips, and leaks that promise to reveal the characteristics and features of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A24. According to one of these reports from October of last year, the Samsung Galaxy A24 may have a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This is thought to be a substantial upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy A23, which came with a Snapdragon 680 SoC and an LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
A 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging capabilities is also expected to be included in the Samsung Galaxy A24. Another rumour claimed that the South Korean company would release the alleged Samsung Galaxy A24 smartphone with a triple back camera configuration, lead by a 48-megapixel primary sensor, followed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 5-megapixel tertiary sensor. A 16-megapixel front-facing camera could be included on the smartphone.
