The Conversation Clear Plus earbuds were unveiled by Sennheiser on Thursday. These wearable gadgets help individuals understand the conversations going on around them; they are not hearing aids. Sennheiser claims that the Conversation Clear Plus establishes a “new benchmark for speech-enhanced consumer wearables” and has the look and feel of genuine wireless earphones with powerful speech enhancement technology. Despite not technically being present at CES, Sennheiser is unveiling goods in conjunction with the event, the most recent of which is a truly wireless headset that enhances conversation clarity.

Price of Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus

The promise of significant cost savings using over-the-counter hearing aids was one of their major selling points. A set fitted by an audiologist would typically cost several thousand dollars. Pre-orders for the Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus, which costs $849.99 (about Rs. 70,100), start on January 5. The item will go on sale to the general public on January 20.

Specifications and characteristics of the Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus.

Sennheiser Automatic Scene Detection, a feature of the Conversation Clear Plus earphones that analyses the ambient noise level and “matches the voice enhancement level to their surroundings,” improves conversations and phone calls.

The Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus earbuds also feature Active Noise Cancellation, which reduces background noise and improves the clarity and understandability of conversations. The user can also choose how much background noise they want to hear when using the ambient awareness mode.

It also comes with a companion software called Conversation Clear Plus that lets users tailor the wearable device’s audio performance to their priorities. There are three specific listening “scenarios” for streaming audio for maximum effectiveness: Relax (to customise how much background noise to filter), Communication, and Streaming.

The FDA has created a framework for a new class of hearing aids that don’t need a prescription, a medical exam, or audiologist fitting as of August 2022. The heart of the Conversation Clear Plus device is a Sonova chip. Phonak, Unitron, and other household names in the industry are all owned by Sonova, which has just acquired the consumer audio business of Sennheiser.

The Conversation Clear Plus earbuds eliminate any stigma or associations with traditional hearing aids by making no claims to be hearing aids and appearing to be a standard pair of genuine wireless earphones. To emphasise that these are not hearing aids, Bluetooth version 4.2 is supported, but the Auracast streaming technology that was advertised as part of the most recent Bluetooth standard is not supported.

The Sennheiser Conversation Clear Plus earbuds have a nine-hour battery life and a 27-hour battery life with the charging case. A choice of ear adapters (or ear-tips) and ear fins are included with the earphones to provide the optimal fit.
