Nothing brightens a person’s day more than waking up to a good meal that was made with love. That’s why moms really appreciate it when you go the extra mile, and whip up something special that they don’t get to enjoy everyday. But that doesn’t mean it needs to be difficult! These easy dairy-free mother’s day recipes are simple enough for almost any home cook. Despite being free of milk, butter, and cream, they are filled with indulgence. But don’t worry, most of these goodies are quite nutritious, too! And we have options for vegan, gluten-free, and food allergic moms.

26 Easy Dairy-Free Mother's Day Recipes for Breakfast - sweet, savory, and plant-based options

20 Easy Dairy-Free Mother’s Day Recipes to Make Breakfast Special

Forget the possibly catastrophe of breakfast in bed. Coax mom out of bed by wafting the scent of freshly brewed coffee. When she arrives in the kitchen, have breakfast set out for both of you (or the whole family). She’ll love a leisurely morning and the good company. A recent survey found that only 5% of moms like their breakfast in bed. The rest would rather rise at their own pace and enjoy their mother’s day breakfast with you!

    Wild Blueberry Scones (Panera Copycat)

These perfect pastries never fail to impress. They’re dairy-free, nut-free, soy-free, and vegan, and pair marvelously with a cup of coffee or tea and fresh fruit.

    Blended Banana Iced Coffee

Call it a coffee smoothie, a banana café frappe, or even a dairy-free frappuccino! No matter the name, this cool drink is a delicious option for coffee-loving moms. It’s made with fresh banana, instead of syrups, and optionally garnished with chocolate shavings (mom is worth it!).

    Maple Pecan Overnight Oatmeal

This may sound like a wintry flavor combination, but trust me, maple pecan never goes out of season. Especially when it comes in the form of this beloved oatmeal recipe. It’s got that extra something that will make mom swoon. This breakfast does contain nuts, but it’s vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free.
