Dunkin’ Dairy-Free Menu Guide (with Custom Order and Vegan Options)

    8
By Alisa Fleming on January 29, 2026 Dining Out, Fast Food Restaurants, In The News, News

Updated April 2026! They still haven’t put dairy-free donuts on the menu in North America, but this massive coffee and baked goods chain is about more than just fried dough. In fact, they officially dropped the donuts from their name. In early 2019, Dunkin’ Donuts became Dunkin’ and they now serve more special diet options in the U.S. than their direct competitors. We have more of the latest news and options in our full Dunkin’ dairy-free menu guide below. You can jump ahead with these links:

    • Must Read Information
    • Food Menu (dairy-free options)
    • Drink Menu (dairy-free options)
    • Vegan Menu

Dunkin' Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Vegan Options - no donuts (yet!), but lots of other food and drinks to choose from.

Dunkin’ Dairy-Free Menu Guide with Custom Order & Vegan Options

Be aware of special order requirements in parentheses () next to the menu items, and see the Heads Up notes to help fill in the blanks. Please note that this guide is for the U.S. locations. Options may vary in other countries.

Dairy-Free Milk Alternative: As of March 5th 2025, Dunkin Donuts no longer charges extra for non-dairy milk. They were the last of the big coffee chains to drop the dairy-free surcharge. The current options include Almond Breeze vanilla almond milk and Planet Oat Oatmilk. Dunkin discontinued offering soymilk in 2014. They also cut coconut milk beverage and the creamy coconut refreshers from their menu at the very end of 2023.

Other Allergen & Dietary Notes: All items listed below are made without egg, nuts, and peanut, unless otherwise noted in the name or parentheses. All drinks, the snack bacon and hashbrowns are made without gluten, but Dunkin Donuts does not offer any gluten-free bread products at this time. Most items at Dunkin contain soy oil and / or soy lecithin, but are made without soy protein. The dairy-free drink menus below are also vegan-friendly. For vegan food options, see the Vegan Menu Guide at the bottom of this post.

    Donuts & Pastries

    • Braided Apple Pie (seasonal)
    • Corn Muffins (contains egg)

Vegan Donuts? Sorry, All current Dunkin’ Donuts in the United States contain milk, wheat, egg, and soy. Some also contain nuts. But, they have rolled out a full line of regular and creme-filled vegan donuts in Belgium and in Chile.

Gluten-Free Options? Unfortunately, the packaged dairy-free Dunkin Gluten-Free Fudge Brownie was short lived. It has been discontinued.

Heads Up! The Pumpkin, Chocolate Chip, Coffee Cake, and Blueberry Muffins at Dunkin all contain milk. So does the Iced Lemon Loaf (see option below).

Iced Lemon Loaf Alternate: Like Starbucks, the Dunkin’ Ice Lemon Loaf does contain milk. But we have an amazing and easy Dairy-Free Iced Lemon Loaf Recipe. It’s a sweetly satisfying copycat.

    Bagels & Breads

    • Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
    • Everything Bagels
    • Multigrain Bagels
    • Plain Bagels
    • Sesame Seed Bagels
    • English Muffin
    • Sourdough Bread
    • Tortilla

Heads Up! The croissant dough at Dunkin is actually made with dairy-free margarine, but they use a glaze on the croissants that contains sodium caseinate (milk protein). So it might be lactose-free, but it isn’t dairy-free. The pancakes (for wraps) do contain milk.

Dairy-Free Spreads: They do not offer dairy-free cream cheese or peanut butter. But they now have vegan avocado spread available to order. Their Butter Spread does contain milk.

    Sandwiches & Wraps

    • Bacon Egg Bagel or English Muffin (no cheese)
    • Bacon Egg Bagel or English Muffin with Chipotle Aioli (no cheese) (seasonal; contains egg)
    • Double Sausage Breakfast Sandwich (no cheese) (contains egg)
    • Egg Bagel or English Muffin (no cheese)
    • Sausage Egg Bagel or English Muffin (no cheese)
    • Sourdough Breakfast Sandwich (no cheese) (contains egg)
    • Tuna Salad Bagel (kosher option; where available) (contains egg)
    • Turkey Sausage Egg Bagel or English Muffin (no cheese)
    • Wake-Up Wrap with Bacon, Sausage, or Turkey Sausage (no cheese) (contains egg)

Heads Up! The Egg Patty used on the sandwiches and wraps at Dunkin is made without milk, but the Egg Scramble is made with milk. Always verify that your location does not butter the bread – it is not corporate policy, but franchise owners can take liberties. The Pesto, when available, does contain cheese. When available, the Chipotle Aioli is made without milk but does contain egg.

    Snacks

    • Avocado Toast
    • Bacon Topped Avocado Toast
    • Hash Browns
    • Snacking Bacon – Regular, Maple Sugar, and Sweet Black Pepper

Heads Up! The seasonal Chipotle Loaded Hash Browns are topped with a chipotle aioli that is dairy-free, but not egg-free. The regular Loaded Hash Browns come with a cheese sauce instead of aioli, and do contain milk.

Limited Time Coffee & Tea Drinks

    No Subs Needed

    • Banana Shakin’ Espresso
    • Brown Sugar Hazelnut Oat Iced Latte
    • Brown Sugar Shakin’ Espresso
    • Sugar-Free Vanilla Iced Coffee

    Easy Swaps

    • Almond Vanilla No Sugar Added Iced Latte (sub dairy-free milk)
    • Bananarama Matcha Latte – Hot or Iced (sub dairy-free milk)
    • Banana Creme Iced Coffee (no cold foam, order with dairy-free milk)
    • Banana Vanilla Iced Coffee (sub dairy-free milk)
    • Blueberry Pie Matcha Latte (no cold foam)
    • Chocolate Hazelnut Truffle Iced Coffee (no cream or sub dairy-free milk)
    • Iced Vanilla Chai Latte (no cold foam, order with dairy-free milk)
    • Iced Vanilla Matcha Latte (no cold foam, order with dairy-free milk)
    • Shakin’ Espresso (order with dairy-free milk)
    • Vanilla Creme Cold Brew (no cold foam, order with dairy-free milk)

Heads Up! All “protein” drinks are made with milk. Dunkin does not offer dairy-free cold foam. The Goin’ Nutty Matcha Drinks do appear to be dairy-free when ordered as is, but Dunkin’ has listed milk in the allergen information. We are in touch to see if there is an error.

    Regular Coffee & Tea Drinks

    • Americano – Hot or Iced
    • Cappuccino – Hot or Iced (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Chai Latte – Hot or Iced (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Coffee – Hot, Cold Brew, or Iced (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Coffee Lattes – Hot or Iced (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Espresso
    • Frozen Coffee (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Frozen Matcha Latte (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Macchiato – Hot or Iced (order with dairy-free options below)
    • Matcha Latte – Hot or Iced (order with dairy-free options below)

Dairy-Free Milk Beverages: Vanilla Almond Breeze Almondmilk, Planet Oat Oatmilk (some stores charge extra for a dairy-free milk substitution)

Dairy-Free Coffee Syrups & Swirls: Banana Flavored Syrup (seasonal), Brown Sugar Cookie Flavored Syrup (seasonal), Brown Sugar Syrup, Brownie Batter Swirl (seasonal), Caramel Chocolate Flavored Syrup (seasonal), Chai Tea Syrup, Churro Swirl (seasonal), Hazelnut Flavor Syrup, Matcha Blend, Mocha Swirl, Peppermint Mocha Swirl (seasonal), Salted Caramel Syrup (NOT the Caramel Swirl). The Coffee Swirl is also dairy-free, but it’s not an add on – it’s used in the base of some of their drinks.

Dairy-Free Unsweetened Coffee Flavor Shots: Blueberry, Coconut, Hazelnut, Raspberry, Toasted Almond, Vanilla (see Swirls vs Flavor Shots to know the difference)

Dairy-Free Toppings: When in season, the holiday Cookie Butter Crumbles and Rainbow Sprinkles appear to be made without dairy, but verify the natural flavors on the label with your local barista. The seasonal Cinnamon Sugar topping is made without milk.

Heads Up! The Candy Bar, Cookie Dough, Lava Cake, Peanut Butter Cup, Pumpkin, Cake Batter, Butter Pecan, Mint Chocolate Chip, Caramel, White Chocolate, Pink Velvet, Toasted White Chocolate, and French Vanilla Swirls do contain milk. Several of these Dunkin swirls rotate with the seasons. Whip is not customary on lattes (it’s extra), but some baristas might add it. Make sure your order is also whip free. None of the menu cold foams are dairy-free. Also, the seasonal Almond Spice Coffee (made with almond milk) does contain milk in the syrup. The Dunkalattes are made with a “coffee milk” that cannot be ordered without dairy.

    More Drinks

    • Blushpop
    • Dunkin Zero Energy Drinks – Blackberry Tangerine, Blushpop, Glamberry, Juicy Peach, Sunzest, Tropical Mango
    • Frozen Coolattas – Blue Raspberry, Strawberry
    • Refreshers – see flavor options below
    • Refreshers, Black Tea – see flavor options below
    • Refreshers, Daydream – see flavor options below (no cold foam)

Refresher Flavors (availability can vary by season): Berry Acai, Berry Blue, Berry Sangria, Blueberry Breeze, Blueberry Strawberry, Golden Hour, Guava Strawberry, Mango Pineapple, Raspberry Watermelon, Strawberry Dragonfruit, Strawberry Pineapple, Tropical Guava, Wicked Pink

Heads Up! The Protein Refreshers contain milk. The Vanilla Spice and Hot Chocolate drinks cannot be made dairy-free. Also, their frozen beverages may contain milk or soy due to potential cross-contamination with the equipment. The Vanilla Coolatta and Cereal ‘n Milk Coolata contain milk, and the Coolatta “Floats” contain dairy.

    Dunkin Donuts Vegan Menu Guide

The entire drink guide above is vegan-friendly, too. Here is the Vegan Food Menu for Dunkin:

    • Avocado Toast
    • Hash Browns
    • Cinnamon Raisin Bagels
    • Everything Bagels
    • Plain Bagels
    • Sesame Seed Bagels
    • English Muffin
    • Sourdough Bread
    • Tortilla
    • Avocado Spread

Heads Up! The Veggie Meat products (bacon, sausage) used on the Kosher versions of their breakfast sandwiches do contain milk. Dunkin no longer carries Beyond Sausage.

    Dunkin’ Spiked Drinks in Stores

In 2023, Dunkin’ launched a full line of dairy-free Spiked Ice Coffees and Spiked Iced Teas. The creamy coffee drinks launched in Original, Caramel, Mocha, and Vanilla flavors. In the fall of 2024, they released two seasonal Iced Latte flavors in Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha. Each of these single-serve coffee drinks is enriched with vegan creamer and 6% ABV.

Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Teas are also dairy-free, but are more refreshing in nature. They contain 5% ABV, and come in Slightly Sweet, Half & Half, Strawberry Dragon fruit, and Mango Pineapple flavors.

Dunkin’ Spiked beverages are sold at various retailers across Alabama, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. There is always a risk for potential cross-contamination of allergens in any commercial kitchen. Listings here do not guarantee that a restaurant is safe enough for your individual needs. Only you can make that decision.

Each location of a chain restaurant has different management and staff, and some might have different owners. This means differences in processes, ingredients used, menu options, and food sourcing can occur. Always verify the safety of your order for your needs at your current location.

    Where to Find Dunkin’

In 2018, Dunkin’ Donuts shuttered all of their remaining Canadian locations. They still have a large based of restaurants in South Korea, and a smattering of other locations in Asia, South Africa, Europe, and South America. In fact, they have nearly 12,000 locations in 36 countries. But the information in this post is specifically for the U.S. Dunkin’ shops.

    question about may contain dairy

    October 1, 2025

I stopped going to all Dunkin’s when I became was diagnosed with a diary allergy. I cannot eat anything that say “may contain dairy”. You are saying all the bagels are dairy free, does that mean it also doesn’t say “may contain dairy”?

    Avatar for Sandra
    Sandra

    Response from Go Dairy Free

As noted, all foods in a restaurant environment are at some degree of risk for cross contamination, and that risk level can vary from location to location. The “may contain” statements are on food products, and they are unregulated. They are even less of a standard practice in restaurants. If you are concerned about trace cross contamination, you must speak with the manager / chef at any restaurant location you visit before ordering. You must ensure that location has allergen protocols, and can tell you what the risk levels are. Dunkin Donuts, like most restaurants, puts a “may contain” for all top allergens at the top of their allergen information. This shields them in liability and lets the consumer know, they must be personally allergen aware.

As always it is so helpful to have a starting point!

However the braided apple pie said it contains milk. The worker had to double check the box.

    Response from Go Dairy Free

I believe the employee mis-read the package (please let me know if you verified otherwise). It has a “may contain” for possible cross-contamination warning with all relevant top allergens that might be present in the production environment (including milk). Here are the ingredients, followed by the allergen notes (as published by Dunkin):

    Braided Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS Enriched Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Ascorbic Acid, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Amylase, Folic Acid), Apple

Filling (Apples, Sugar, Water, Corn Starch, Cinnamon, Ascorbic Acid, Citric Acid), Palm and Canola Margarine (Soy), Water, Sugar, Salt.

    ALLERGENS Soy, Wheat

WARNING May Contain Egg, Milk, Sesame, Tree Nuts (Almonds, Hazelnuts, Pecans, Walnuts)

Thank you for the thorough guide! My location has chocolate chip banana bread back in stock and Dunkin’s allergen menu says “May contain milk.” Is this due to potential cross contamination?

    Avatar for Allison
    Allison

    Response from Go Dairy Free

Hi Allison, It appears it is probably due to potential cross contamination. As they note, there are no dairy ingredients in the bread. Please note that all items listed are at some degree of risk for potential cross contamination with allergens, even if it isn’t noted.

After doing some research, I believe the flavoring syrups they use for their lattes contain milk.
      Any confirmation?

      • Alisa Fleming on October 30, 2015 2:59 pm

Hi Becky, you would need to check with them, but that does seem odd that syrups would contain dairy – possible, but not common. Is caramel color / flavor the confusion?

    2. Tammy on March 10, 2015 5:43 pm

Dunkin Donuts offers a chocolate croissant that is dairy free according to their website.

Dunkin is a terrible company for one reason — inconsistency. Here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania — many locations offer almond milk as an alternative. Go to a Dunk outside the region though and you will find employees who don’t even understand the concept of dairy free at all. Starbucks is overpriced, but they are at least trying and have soy milk available at all locations.

      • Alisa Fleming on February 11, 2015 10:05 am

Thanks for sharing your experience Jason! Did you see the news about coconut milk beverage in Starbucks now, too? – https://godairyfree.org/news/starbucks-dairy-free-coconut-milk

    4. Rachel on September 6, 2014 12:10 am

None of the Dunkin Donuts anywhere in IL have Soymilk, I ask every time I go to a different location and the answer is always no. I am not an almond milk fan because of the excessive sodium and the carrageanan

      • meira on January 12, 2016 9:00 pm

P.s. I recently had to put my daughter on a dairy free diet. I was told about the carrageenan bring terrible. I read up on our from silk, almond breeze, and some others and they write that they were pulling that ingredient from their moms. You will need to check the boxes or bottle, but you will find then to be without carrageenan 🙂
