Blue Diamond Steps Out with New Almondmilks Straight from the Growers

    0
By Alisa Fleming on February 18, 2026 Dairy-Free Milk Substitute Reviews, Product Reviews

After decades of letting their Almond Breeze name take center stage, Blue Diamond is coming into the light with a new core line of beverages. Don’t worry, Almond Breeze isn’t going away – as far as we know. But Blue Diamond Almondmilks are more directly connecting the consumer with the grower, and have a quality promise that equates to 75% more almonds than leading brands of almond milk.

Blue Diamond Almondmilk: 4 Varieties that Put Almonds First

Blue Diamond Growers is a co-op of 3000 almond growers that began over a century ago. In the late 1990’s, the collective released Almond Breeze, which became the first brand of mainstream almond milk. Now they’re putting their company name on a line that exemplifies their “almond first” mission. Each cup promises more almonds and key attributes that suit today’s discerning customers.

    Unsweetened Simple

If you want the purity of homemade almond milk without the hassle, this bottle is for you. It’s essentially just almonds with a pinch of salt and no added sugar – 3 ingredients total. And each cup contains the equivalent of 1 to 2 tablespoons of almonds.

    Nutrition (per 1 cup): 50 calories, 4.5g fat, 170mg sodium, 2g carbs, <1g fiber, 0g sugars (includes 0g added sugars), 2g protein.*

    Sweetened Simple

This equally clean formula is identical to their other Simple almondmilk, but it has about 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar added per cup for a gently sweet finish.

    Signature Creamy

If you’re looking for almond milk that goes above and beyond what you can make at home, I’d give this one a try. It still boasts a high almond count, but it also has a richer, more stable finish that performs well in coffee and recipes, and it’s fortified with calcium, Vitamin E, and vitamin D. It also has a pleasant, drinkable flavor, but is relatively low in sugar, as you can see below.

    Chocolate Protein

This is their top almond milk for functionality. It has an appealing chocolate flavor, is equally fortified to the Signature Creamy, is boosted to the equivalent protein level of dairy milk, and is still relatively modest in sugar.
